Moles
Moles may seem harmless, but they can cause significant damage to lawns, gardens, sports fields, and agricultural land. Their tunnelling leads to unsightly molehills, weakened ground, and disrupted plant roots, making professional mole control essential for homeowners and businesses.

How we deal with Moles
Moles work for four hours and then rest for four hours, and they do these twenty-four hours per day. Their fur runs both ways so they can walk backwards in the tunnel system and can even somersault to return the way they came. Most people believe that moles are blind. They’re not blind but do have poor eyesight.
Moles cause significant damage by their excavating and indirectly can cause listeria in sheep through contaminating silage. The only way to deal with a mole problem is to use reliable traps. All mole catchers will have their favourite traps whether it be the Duffus, Trapline, Putange or Scissor etc.
The traps are set within the mole tunnel system, and they’re identified with markers in the ground. They’re left in situ for a week to ten days and then inspected. In most cases the mole or moles are usually caught at this point, however, you are covered up to three visits if we feel that there’s another mole to be captured. At the end of the treatment, you’re given a two-week grace period in case there’s any further activity. We don’t charge for any trapping if a mole pops up in the two-week grace period.
We feel that two weeks is a fair amount of time for another mole to show itself if it was nearby.
